American Exchange Group, a multi-division industry leader in areas such as accessories design, manufacturing, and wholesale, has officially acquired women’s footwear brand White Mountain, according to a company announcement.
American Exchange Group stated that it plans to “integrate and leverage the solid structure, sourcing and manufacturing capabilities, management and execution” that has led to the long-standing success of White Mountain, over the last 40 years with the Aerosoles brand, and the two companies aim to expand distribution channels.
Additionally, the company plans to White Mountain Footwear and its sister footwear brand Cliffs to a wide range audience. Currently, White Mountain is currently sold at Macy’s, DSW, Kohl’s, Boscov’s, Amazon, Famous Footwear, and Shoe Carnival.
“I have been truly impressed with White Mountain’s experienced executive leadership team and their long, dedicated, tenured staff that has supported the brand’s growth over many years” Alen Mamrout, chief executive of American Exchange Group said in the statement. “I look forward to seeing them bring that success, commitment and enthusiasm to Aerosoles.”
